Become a memory cafe volunteer
Our memory cafes provide a safe and welcoming space for people living with dementia throughout Devon.
Volunteers play an essential part in making our memory cafes work. Roles include helping prepare rooms for sessions, joining in activities, chatting with attendees, and serving hot drinks and cakes.
Giving a little of your time and energy to support a memory cafe makes a big difference to people who really benefit from it. And it’s a wonderful way to get involved in your local community.
Our current volunteering vacancies are listed below. Click any of them for further details on the memory cafe’s page.

Become a volunteer driver
Our memory cafes provide safe, welcoming spaces for people living with memory loss, their families and carers. Some guests just need a little help getting there.
If you drive, and have some spare time, could you help take people to and from a memory cafe in Devon? Sessions usually take place once or twice a month, and we cover the fuel costs.
Being a volunteer driver has a real impact for those who use memory cafes. You’ll be helping people living with dementia to get the support, connection and friendship they need.
